Changpeng Zhao (CZ), CEO of Binance, said, “I can join Twitter’s board of directors if Elon Musk requests it.” Speaking at a technology conference in Portugal, CZ shared his thoughts on how he decided to invest in Twitter. Changpeng Zhao, who announced that he invested $500 million in Twitter after Elon Musk bought Twitter, reiterated Binance’s desire to cooperate with Twitter.During the conference, CZ also mentioned that Elon Musk has not yet decided on the board of directors, saying, “If Musk requests it, I will probably join the board of directors.” CZ also emphasized that he will wait until Musk shares in detail his plan to incorporate blockchain and crypto products into Twitter.CZ had previously shared his expectations on how blockchain and crypto products should be incorporated into Twitter.Elon Musk also gave some hints that DOGE could be integrated into Twitter in the future, a few days after the acquisition deal was finalized. CZ, on the other hand, stated that Elon Musk should support other cryptocurrencies in addition to DOGE and BNB, and that he could help Twitter enter Web3 when they are ready. “The number one reason we invest is that Twitter is an important free speech platform.
