5 Upcoming VR Games
Red Matter 2
If you’re a fan of sci-fi, horror, and adventure games, you can’t go wrong with Red Matter. The sequel to its popular predecessor is a slickly designed, action-packed puzzle adventure that makes use of VR technology.
Red Matter takes place in a dystopian Cold War world. Players take on the role of an infiltrated agent, tasked with finding secret documents hidden in an abandoned Volgravian base. It’s part of a shady top-secret research project.
Red Matter uses an imaginative puzzle system, which requires players to think and manipulate the game world. This is a new twist on the traditional puzzle experience.
While the puzzles in Red Matter are clever, the combat sections are lacking. However, there are plenty of other aspects to enjoy.
The first part of the game is fairly short. In addition to that, the story is a bit bland, but it provides a backdrop to the game’s more elaborate puzzles.
Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate
Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate is a VR game that takes you into the heart of the fictional marine world city of Astrum Close. Set hundreds of years in the future, this is the third in a series of adventure games based on the interactive novel.
Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate follows Special Supervisor Hal Scion, an amnesiac. He has been tasked with locating the keycard of Professor Rumford. This card will unlock a restricted door. Luckily, he’s been aided by navigator robot Lily.
Dyschronia: Chronos alters the traditional Interactive Novel, incorporating more interaction with the environment. It also allows users to scan objects and access information about them from past memories. By doing so, users are able to add a personal touch to the experience.
Aside from the main storyline, players are given the ability to teleport and travel artificially. They can also select which conversation topics to discuss with NPCs.

This game is set to launch in Fall 2022, and players will be able to play catch in their favorite NFL stadium and run plays from the quarterback’s perspective. It will feature real names and likenesses of NFL players.
The game has been developed by former NFL players and a sports-focused technology startup. A few dozen teams have already started using the technology to simulate training and to give fans a more realistic experience of a game day.
Pro Era will feature a season mode, a two-minute drill simulation, and mini games. Each of these will allow users to take on the role of quarterback for any of the 32 NFL teams. In addition, the game will include the ability to interact with trophies and collect items.
